We had our first “open mic” experience at The Tin Open Mic, at the Coal Vaults by Coventry Canal Basin. It’s a really interesting venue, under an old brick arch which actually was used for coal storage. So we sang four songs from our Christmas repertoire and watched some very talented performers and enjoyed some good local bottled beer and all in all had a very pleasant evening. Plus we were offered a feature slot in the new year (a half hour headline slot that they advertise) so we’re really looking forward to going back.
