We paid another visit to St John the Baptist Church, Henley-in-Arden, for their Christmas Tree festival. The switch-on of the Christmas lights and open-air carol service had attracted revellers to Henley from far and wide, and the church community were kept very busy serving mulled wine and mince pies after the event. Although it was chilly in the church we were warmed by the mulled wine and sang most of our Christmas repertoire twice through, enjoying the lovely acoustic of this 1448 church.
